Great success for idem telematics at the German Telematics Award 2025: The European market leader for transport networking secured first place in three categories – vehicle technology, load management and trailer/swap body technology. The company is thus continuing its successful run and further expanding its position as the market and innovation leader in the industry.
The repeated awards underscore idem telematics' technological leadership and innovative strength: for the fifth time in a row, the company has won the German Telematics Award in the trailer/swap body technology category. And in the vehicle technology category, the company secured the top spot for the third time in a row.
The jury particularly praised the consistent further development of the holistic networking concept, which intelligently connects freight, drivers and vehicles across all transport categories. By integrating the latest data and AI technologies, idem telematics has succeeded in making the daily use of trucks, trailers and swap bodies even more efficient and safer – a decisive advantage in times of increasing logistical requirements and growing regulation.
‘We are delighted to receive this triple award, which impressively confirms our technological and strategic direction,’ says Jens Zeller, Managing Director of idem telematics. ‘Our solutions show that digitalisation in the transport industry is not just for large fleets. We offer practical systems that enable medium-sized companies to enter the world of networked, efficient and sustainable transport logistics.’
With victories in the key areas of vehicle technology, load management and trailer/swap body technology, idem telematics is sending a clear signal: the future of telematics lies in the integrated, modular networking of all vehicle types and components.
The German Telematics Award is presented every two years by ETM Verlag in cooperation with DEKRA and a jury of experts headed by Prof. Dr Heinz-Leo Dudek. It is considered one of the most prestigious awards in the industry and evaluates not only technical performance but also user benefits and the innovation potential of the submitted systems.
